Cycle reading: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, Recovery

The ISU campus has a daily population around 25,000. Our University is located within the larger Bloomington-Normal community of approximately 130,000 residents.

Natural, human-caused and technological emergencies are threats that face the University community and we are committed to developing a culture of preparedness among the University community. This idea is carried out through trainings, emergency drills, collaboration, hands-on exercises and heightened awareness.

ISU's comprehensive program covers the entire emergency management lifecycle (mitigation, preparedness, response and continuity/recovery operations).
