Online Training
FEMA Training for Campus Responders
The Federal Emergency Management Agency offers a number of self-paced, online training opportunities. Each course offers 1-3 hours of instruction on a single aspect of emergency preparedness. Most courses are accompanied by a knowledge exam at the conclusion of the course. Those who successfully complete the exam are e-mailed a certificate of completion which also includes a number of Continuing Education Unit hours.
All FEMA Independent Study courses now require a FEMA Student ID (SID) for registration. This SID travels with you for every FEMA course you take.
